My name is Walter Slippers, founder and owner of Across Africa Tours & Safaris. I am a third-generation hunter and Professional Hunter, born into a family where hunting has been a way of life for generations.

Hunting is not simply a business to me. It has been in my blood since I was a young boy growing up in the African bush, learning the traditions, skills and values passed down through our family.

From an early age, I developed a deep respect for wildlife, conservation and the hunting heritage of Africa. Those early experiences shaped my passion for the outdoors and laid the foundation for a lifelong career in the safari industry.

I began guiding international hunting clients in the early 1990s and have spent decades pursuing some of Africa's most magnificent game species. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of guiding hunters from around the world, with a large portion of our clientele coming from the United States.

Over the years, I have hunted and guided safaris throughout Africa, from classic plains game hunts to dangerous game safaris. My experience covers a wide range of hunting destinations and species, from the smallest antelope to the legendary Big Five.
